Student Wellness

  • Each building leader will host wellness events for students in their building.  As the events are planned and hosted, check this page for highlights!

    Sycamore High School Events:

    Fuel Up to Play 60 is ready to kick off the year!  Several students and program advisors were able to attend a leadership training at the Cincinnati Bengals stadium on September 28.  

    Sycamore FUTP60 students held a Sycamore Drink's Milk Day!  It will become a Sycamore CNS tradition each year.

    The High School won the Hometown Grant award this year!  $10,000 will be used to fund student wellness initiatives at the high school including a cycling challenge, color walk and health fest along with a refuel station at the Gregory Center in the after-school hours Mon-Fri.

    Sycamore Junior High Events:

    Fuel Up to Play 60 is ready to kick off the year!  Several students and program advisors will be attending a leadership training at the Cincinnati Bengals stadium on September 28.  Following this event, there will be an opportunity for more students to be recruited into the FUPT60 team at the Junior High.

    The annual Flight Fest was held on October 1, 2016!  

    Edwin H. Greene Intermediate Events:

    The CAN YOU HACKETT challenged has been revamped this year!  Be sure to send pictures of your student's at EHG being active and submit them for a chance to be added to the wall of fame along the halls of the school!

    Sycamore Elementary Events:

    Annual events take place at all the elementary schools such as:

    • Walk A Thon
    • Salad bar in school day - lettuce is harvest from the school garden for tasting
    • Taste Testing
    • Nutrition promotion events

    Additionally, each school offers some exciting events of their own!  Keep checking for highlights of these programs.
