No more cookie dough or magazines to buy! The primary fundraiser for the PTO is our Aves Hangar Bookstore & Spirit Shop. The Hangar is your one stop shop for AVES LOGO gear, books for required class reading, supplies for special courses (like photography and chemistry), a lock for your gym locker, and other basic school supplies (folders, loose leaf paper, pens, etc).
The only other PTO fundraisers are our "community fundraisers" where we earn "free money" from your shopping at Kroger or Pipkins Market. Click here for more information.
Membership dues make up the rest of the PTO's income.
The bulk of PTO funds we raise are gifted to the school, staff and students through an annual project cycle where formal requests for needed items are made. Tables and chairs in the commons, unique tools for art classes, and specialized computer equipment are a few examples of PTO funded requests. The PTO also supplies funds and manpower for a number of events and services. These include Monthly “Coffee with Counselors”, compilation of a student directory, publishing an e-newsletter, furnishing volunteers where needed, providing hospitality for several school sponsored events, and showing appreciation to staff multiple times throughout the year.
