Mrs. Leslie Combs holds degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education for the Hearing Impaired from Eastern Kentucky University, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati. She taught for 15 years before coming to Sycamore to serve as assistant principal at Edwin H Greene School from 2005 - 2012, and currently as principal at Blue Ash Elementary since 2012. Her husband Jeff teaches special education in the Lakota School District, and they have two children – son Jordan, and daughter Claire.

Mrs. Jenny Ament joined Sycamore Schools as the Assistant Principal at Blue Ash Elementary in July 2018. Ament comes to the Sycamore Family from Lakota Local Schools, where she has served five years as an elementary teacher and an interim assistant principal. Most recently, Ament served as interim assistant principal at Cherokee Elementary.

Ament has sixteen years of classroom experience, teaching fifth grade at Adena Elementary, fourth grade at Hopewell Elementary, seventh grade at Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow Online Charter School, and first and second grade at Fairfield East Elementary.

She received her Masters in Educational Leadership from Concordia University and her Principal’s Licensure from the University of Cincinnati. Ament graduated from Sycamore High School in 1996.
