Mr. Paul Balent
President
Paul Balent is a Global Sales Director for Nalco Water, where he has worked since 1992. Mr. Balent completed his Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University. He and his wife have lived in Montgomery since 2006 and have two daughters who attend Sycamore Community Schools. Mr. Balent was appointed to the Board in May 2015 and elected in November 2015. Current term: 2022-2025.

Mr. Brad Comerford
Vice President
Brad Comerford is a Vice President at P&G and has been with the company since 1995. He leads the Next Generation Services team as part of the Global Business Services organization. Comerford earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering and his Master's in Engineering Economic Systems from Stanford University. He and his wife Tami moved to the Sycamore Community School district in 2000 and they have three daughters who are all proud Aviator alumni (Meredith 2013, Morgan 2017, Mallory 2019). Current term: 2020-23.

Mrs. Sara Bitter
Member
Sara Bitter has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Cincinnati and a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. She is also a Law Trainee Graduate of the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) Program at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Bitter has lived in the Sycamore School District for 15 years and is a parent to two Sycamore students. She has been an active volunteer in her children's schools and has served on numerous community boards. She was elected to the Sycamore Board of Education in November 2021. Current term: 2022-2025.

Dr. Lynne Stieger
Member
Dr. Lynne Stieger has lived in the Sycamore community since 2013. She has her Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University, MPH from Columbia University, and her Ph.D. from the Steinhardt School of Education at New York University. Dr. Stieger was a secondary French teacher in Maryland, New York, and Ohio. She has also taught at the University of Cincinnati and Mt. St. Joseph. She was elected to the Sycamore Board of Education in November 2021. Current term: 2022-2025.

Mrs. Melissa Weiss
Member
Melissa Weiss has lived in Montgomery since 2003 and has two daughters attending Sycamore Community Schools. Previous professional experience includes working with a variety of hospitals, insurance companies and physicians in her role as a health care management consultant. Weiss earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of California at Berkeley. Current term: 2020-2023 (Originally elected 11/2015)
