Members of the Sycamore Advisory Commission conduct research and prepare research reports on issues that impact the school district. Topics for research are determined each year. Previous topics include:

• Cost efficiency and effectiveness
• Formation of an alumni association
• Wellness programs
• Demographic analysis
• Community involvement
