Students and their parents must currently be living within our district boundaries to enroll.
Students MUST BE 5 by September 30, 2021 in order to attend kindergarten.

Failure to follow these steps could result in delay of registration and/or entrance in to the full day lottery
STEP 1: COMPLETE FINAL FORMS (instructions below).
Please be sure to choose the correct school year (2021-22).
**Registrations will not be accepted until all parent forms in Final Forms are complete**

STEP 2: Email the following documents to email@example.com

*PLEASE USE ONLY YOUR CHILD’S FIRST AND LAST NAME AND KDG 21-22 AS THE SUBJECT*
Make sure all documents are legible!
*Proof of residence: NOTE: A print out from the auditor's website or utility bill will NOT be accepted.
To determine if your address falls within the residential boundaries for Sycamore Community Schools, please go to the Hamilton County Auditor’s website.
We DO NOT offer open enrollment and you MUST be currently living within our district to register.
- If you own your home: Current mortgage statement or Deed to the home
- If you are renting: Current signed lease listing all occupants. If you are living in an apartment, the parent/guardian’s name must be on the lease.
- If living in a house owned by another person: Affidavit II. This form must also be accompanied by either a current mortgage statement or deed from the homeowner
- If building or purchasing a home: Agreement of Understanding. This form must be accompanied by the contract to build or purchase. You must be able to occupy the home within 90 days of registration.
*Child's birth certificate OR passport
*Photo I.D. for the parent/guardian (driver license, passport, military ID)
*Custody / Parenting Agreement paperwork (if applicable) Parent/Guardian living in the district must be listed as the residential parent
+These forms should be submitted TO YOUR BUILDING if you are completing them after your registration.
Upon submitting documentation to the email address listed above, you will receive a confirmation of receipt email. THIS DOES NOT CONFIRM REGISTRATION.
Once your registration has been confirmed, you will receive a second confirmation email along with more information and important upcoming dates!! This email can take several days to receive due to the influx of registration during this period.
If you are enrolling for HALF DAY Kindergarten, there is nothing further you need to do.
If you want to be part of the FULL DAY lottery, you MUST do the following:
*PRINT AND COMPLETE the Kindergarten Tuition Agreement
*PREPARE a $100 refundable deposit (CASH, CHECK, MONEY ORDER - Payable to Sycamore Community Schools)
*MAIL or DROP OFF the signed Agreement and Deposit to the BUILDING THAT YOUR CHILD WILL ATTEND. Addresses are listed below for mailing purposes.
If you are dropping off, please locate the RED lock box labeled for Kindergarten Deposits in the building’s vestibule.
++Office staff will not take payments directly as visitors to te buildings are not permitted at this time.++
*Please CLEARLY write your child’s name in the memo section of your check or money order.
*Deposits must be accompanied by the Tuition Agreement.
*Deposits WILL NOT be accepted at the District Office. They MUST be taken to your child’s building.
THE DEADLINE TO APPLY FOR THE FULL DAY LOTTERY IS Friday, February 12, 2021.
You must have a COMPLETED Registration as well as submission of the DEPOSIT and AGREEMENT by this date in order to be considered for the lottery.
**Chances for the lottery do not increase based on submission date. As long as you have received a confirmed registration and submit a deposit prior to the deadline, your child will be entered into the lottery.**
