    Admission to this event is FREE!!!!!

    But, if you would like to participate in chucking your pumpkin, or our teacher raffle, ticket prices are as follows:

    Pumpkin Chuck Ticket prices:

    $5/first pumpkin

    $10/up to 3 pumpkins

    $15/up to 5 pumpkins

    $20/unlimited pumpkins

    Teacher Raffle Ticket prices:


    12 for $10

    25 for $20


    Pre-Sale Tickets

    If you would like to skip the ticket line on Chuck Day, we will be offering a one day Pre-Sale on Tuesday, October 31st just before and after the Halloween costume parade outside BAE.  Tickets will be available for purchase on Halloween from 10-11:30 am.  Pre-Sale ticket prices are as follows:

    Pumpkin Chuck Pre-Sale tickets:

    $4/first pumpkin

    $9/up to 3 pumpkins

    $14/up to 5 pumpkins

    $19/unlimited pumpkins

    Teacher Raffle Pre-Sale tickets:

    2 for $1

    Cash is the best method of payment both for pre-sale and the day of the event.  We will have credit card readers available for anyone wishing to pay with a card.  Venmo and PayPal are accepted methods of payment, but just be aware that internet connection in and around BAE is very sporadic.  Please plan accordingly.

  • Who will win the title of "Pie Eating Champion of 2023"?


    With the generous support we have received from Meijer in Oakley, we are excited to be able to host a pie eating contest at Pumpkin Chuck 2023!  We will have 3 rounds of the contest.  The first will start promptly at 12:00 noon at the Chuck.  This round will feature some of our amazing Sycamore Administrators and staff from across the district.  Please join us in cheering them on and watching as they stuff their faces with pumpkin pie!

    The second round of the contest will begin at 12:30pm and will be open to elementary students only.  The third round of the contest will be open to any pie lover from 5th grade through adulthood.  We hope to see lots of participation.

    To sign up for the contest and pay the $25 participation fee, please arrive at the Pie Eating Contest booth at least 10 minutes prior to your desired contest round.

  • bake sale

    We will be hosting a bake sale on Chuck Day.  We will have a variety of baked goods for sale to help support the PTO.  Varieties will include allergy-friendly choices.  If you are interested in donating individually wrapped baked goods, please look here for a sign-up link.  All donated baked goods need to be packaged in individual portions, labeled with ingredients when possible, and dropped off during school hours on Friday, November 3rd.  Thank you for your support!!!!!

    We need about 40 volunteers to make this event a success.

    Help us fill the barrels!  Let us give back to our community in need as we gear up for the holiday season, by filling these barrels with canned goods and non-perishables.  Every family that brings items to donate will receive $1 off all chuck tickets and teacher raffle tickets.  Let's stock the Operation Give Back food pantry for the season!

    We are fortunate enough to have our friends at Cheese N Chong serving up delicious gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches and hot soup and chili.  Stop by and have a bite to eat befor our after you chuck your pumpkin!!!
