Curriculum Standards
Sycamore Community Schools offers a wide variety of learning opportunities designed to meet the diverse needs and interests of all students.
With more than 223 courses, including six global languages and 23 Advanced Placement options, students are encouraged to challenge themselves academically and explore their passions.
We provide flexible pathways for learning, including credit flex options that allow students to design custom courses for high school credit and dual credit opportunities that let them earn both high school and college credit simultaneously. District performance data is continuously reviewed to guide curriculum design, alignment, and professional development.
A curriculum committee—made up of teachers and administrators representing multiple grade levels and subject areas—reviews all proposed changes and makes recommendations to the superintendent.
