Sycamore Community Schools offers a wide variety of learning options for all students.
Our students can chose from more than 223 courses, including six global languages and 23 Advanced Placement courses. We give students the chance to succeed inside and outside the traditional classroom setting, with credit flex options for students who wish to create a course of interest for high school credit, and dual credit courses offering high school and college credit simultaneously. Sycamore Community Schools monitors district student performance data and uses that data to organize and plan for curriculum design and alignment as well as for teacher professional development.
A committee comprised of teachers and administrators, representing a cross-section of grade levels and curricular areas, review all potential changes to the curriculum and make recommendations to the superintendent accordingly.
