Property Tax

In 2023, the property tax rate paid by Sycamore residents, 34.51 mills, is the fifth lowest of 25 school districts in Hamilton County and neighboring districts, Kings and Mason. This includes 2.8 mills for the bond issue approved in November, 2019.  The rate is nearly nine (9) mills less than the average for this comparison group.  Scroll down to see how Sycamore's tax rate compares to area schools.
