Dr. Traci Rea

Dr. Traci Rea is thrilled to serve as our Principal at Sycamore Junior High School. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Akron, Dr. Rea began her career teaching 7th and 8th grade students in northern Ohio. She earned her Masters of Education from Kent State University and served as an administrator in both the Forest Hills and Northwest school districts in the Cincinnati area. While in the Northwest schools district, Dr. Rea served as both Director and Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources prior to joining the Sycamore family in the fall of 2015. In December of 2015, Dr. Rea received her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Miami University and has been using all of her knowledge and skill to lead Sycamore Junior High to be the best it can be.

Mrs. Misty Belfrom

Misty Belfrom became the Assistant Principal in July 2018. Belfrom has served as the Special Education Department Supervisor at the junior high since 2016. She also served as an intervention specialist during the 2015-2016 school year. Prior to coming to Sycamore, Belfrom worked as an intervention specialist at Lebanon City Schools for six years and an education coordinator for Home for Life at Monroe City Schools.

Mr. Andrew King

Andrew King has been the assistant principal at Sycamore Junior High since the 2019-2020 school year.

King brings 23 years of education experience to Sycamore Schools. He served as a guidance counselor at Lebanon Junior High School and Berry Middle School for 18 years. He was also the Dean of Athletics at Lebanon Junior High for three years. Prior to working with students and families in Lebanon, King served as a special education teacher at Warner Middle School in Xenia, Ohio for five years.

King received his Master’s in School Leadership in 2018 from Concordia University. He also has a Master’s in School Counseling from the University of Dayton and a Bachelor’s in Special Education from Wright State University.
