Nutrition Services

Sycamore Child Nutrition fuels student success by serving healthy, balanced meals that support learning and wellness.

Each school day, students can enjoy nutritious breakfast and lunch options made with whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables, lean proteins, reduced sodium, and low-fat dairy—carefully crafted to meet USDA nutrition standards and appeal to kids’ tastes. All snacks and a la carte items meet Smart Snack guidelines, and we offer tools to help parents manage their child’s food choices.

As a self-supporting department, Sycamore Child Nutrition operates without the use of local tax dollars. All meals, equipment, and staffing are funded through student meal purchases and federal reimbursements. By partnering to serve meals at a local parochial school, we’re also able to reinvest in and strengthen our own program for Sycamore students.
