Medication At School
Sycamore Community Schools follows the Ohio Revised Code for administering medication at school. Medication should only be given during the school day when absolutely necessary for a student’s health and well-being.
A Physician/Dentist Medication Orders Form, signed by a parent or guardian and a physician, must be on file before any prescription or over-the-counter medication can be given. The same form is required for students to carry inhalers or EpiPens.
For questions about student medication, contact the nurse at your child’s building.
