New Student Registration (Grades 1-12)

Register now for the 2024-25 school year! Please follow the steps below to register your student(s) grades 1-12. Failure to follow these steps could result in delay of registration.

Sycamore Community Schools does not offer open enrollment. Students and their families must currently be living within our district boundaries to enroll.

3-Step Registration Process

Step 1

Complete Final Forms

Registration will not be accepted until all parent forms in Final Forms are complete.

CURRENT FAMILIES WITH STUDENT(S) ARLEADY ENROLLED IN THE DISTRICT:

Step 2

Upload the Following Documents

Upload from your computer or phone or take a photo of the document with your phone the following documents to your child's Final Forms account:

Proof of residence:

If you own your home: Current mortgage statement or Deed to the home
If you are renting: Current signed lease listing all occupants. If you are living in an apartment, the parent/guardian’s name must be on the lease.
If living in a house owned by another person: Affidavit II. This form must also be accompanied by either a current mortgage statement or deed from the homeowner.
If building or purchasing a home: Agreement of Understanding. This form must be accompanied by the contract to build or purchase. You must be able to occupy the home within 90 days of registration.

2. Child's birth certificate OR passport

3. Photo I.D. for the parent/guardian (driver's license, passport, military ID)

4. Child’s current immunization records - Immunization records are due PRIOR to the first day of school.

5. Custody / Parenting Agreement (if applicable) - Parent/Guardian living in the district must be listed as the residential parent. Custody Frequently asked questions.

Step 3

Contact the Registration Office

Send an email to our district registrar (registration@sycamoreschools.org) to let her know you've completed Final Forms and uploaded all necessary documents for registration. In the subject line use only your child's first and last name.

Once your registration has been completed, you will receive a confirmation email along with more information and important upcoming dates!!
