Kindergarten Registration Opens On January 13-February 10, 2025

We are excited to welcome the Sycamore Class of 2038!

Kindergarten registration for the 2025-26 school year will begin on January 13, 2025. Registrations will not be accepted prior to that date. Children must be 5 years old by September 30, 2025 in order to attend kindergarten. Please note: Beginning in 2026-27 school year, children must be 5 years old by August 1, 2026 in order to attend kindergarten.

Sycamore offers half-day kindergarten in AM and PM sessions. A tuition-based full-day option is also available at each of our elementary schools. 

We will offer evening help sessions for families needing assistance with Final Forms, document uploads, or technology to use. Please only attend if you are in need of assistance with the registration process. These sessions will be held at Sycamore Community Schools District Offices, at 5959 Hagewa Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45242 on the following dates:

Thursday, January 16      4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.

Tuesday,  January  21     4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.

Wednesday, January 29  4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.

Tuesday, February 4        4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m .

We strive to ensure that students can begin kindergarten at their neighborhood elementary school. However, due to the registration process, this cannot always be guaranteed. The number of classes is determined by the number of students enrolled each year.

Full-Day Tuition Information

  • Tuition Rate: $3,700 per year

  • Payment Terms:

    • NEW THIS YEAR: No deposit is required.
    • The first payment of $500 is due by September 1, 2025.
    • The remaining balance is payable in $400 monthly installments from October through May, due by the first business day of each month. Payments must be made through the district's online payment system, PaySchools, starting August 1, 2025.

  • Waivers: Tuition is waived for students participating in the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch program. Families planning to apply for the waiver should indicate their intent when enrolling. The Free and Reduced Application will become available online in July.

STUDENTS AND THEIR PARENTS MUST CURRENTLY BE LIVING WITHIN OUR DISTRICT BOUNDARIES TO ENROLL.

STUDENTS MUST BE 5 YEARS OLD BY SEPTEMBER 30, 2025 IN ORDER TO ATTEND KINDERGARTEN.
