Facilities & Grounds Staff


Sycamore Community Schools operates seven schools: Blue Ash Elementary, Maple Dale Elementary, Montgomery elementary, Symmes Elementary, E. H. Greene Intermediate, Sycamore Junior High and Sycamore High School. The Maintenance & Facilities Department also maintains the district office , TIP house and, all district athletic facilities. The Facilities & Maintenance staff employ fifty-one employees which maintain 1,116,964 square feet of district facilities. Seven facilities staff members ensure all mechanical related systems are well maintained; three grounds personnel maintain landscaping of all athletic facilities, as well as upkeep of our district facilities and, forty-one custodial staff, ensure a clean, safe environment for all students and staff in all district facilities.

The Sycamore Board of Education will make school facilities available for community use whenever it does not interfere with school activities, does not cause the district to incur additional costs, falls under the provisions of existing law and is an appropriate use of the facilities in the judgment of the district.
