Sycamore Community Schools
During the Board of Education organizational meeting on January 7, 2026, the district officially welcomed its newly elected members. Mr. Will Gosnell, Mr. Paul Balent, and Mrs. Sara Bitter were sworn into office following the November election. While Mr. Gosnell joins the Board as a new member, Mr. Balent and Mrs. Bitter continue their dedicated service as returning members.
The Board also established its leadership for the upcoming year. Mr. Victor Harris, previously serving as Vice President, was named Board President. Joining him in leadership is Dr. Adrienne James, former Sycamore superintendent, who will serve as the Board’s new Vice President.
