PBIS Recognition Fall 2025
Sycamore Community Schools

Sycamore Community Schools is proud to announce that five of our buildings have received prestigious recognition from the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce for outstanding implementation of the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework implementation.

PBIS is a research-based framework that guides schools to create a positive environment by proactively teaching and reinforcing good behavior. The system is designed to reduce disciplinary issues, increase learning time, and help all students thrive academically and socially.

The Ohio PBIS Recognition System celebrates schools and districts that demonstrate exemplary commitment to the framework. Awards are presented at the bronze, silver, gold, or district levels of distinction.

Congratulations to:

  • Symmes Elementary - Gold Status
  • Montgomery Elementary - Gold Status
  • Sycamore Junior High - Silver Status
  • Maple Dale Elementary - Silver Status
  • Blue Ash Elementary - Bronze Status

This achievement reflects the dedication of our students, staff, and families in fostering supportive and successful learning environments across the district.
