Treasurer Jenni Logan Announces Departure
Sycamore Community Schools

After serving Sycamore Community Schools for more than two years, Treasurer/CFO Jenni Logan will be leaving the district effective December 31, 2025. The Board of Education accepted her resignation at the November 19, 2025 meeting.

Logan is moving into a new role as the Southwest Regional Director for Shared Services Alliance, where she will mentor and support treasurers across Ohio.

"Serving the students, families, and staff of Sycamore Community Schools has been one of the most deeply rewarding chapters of my career. I am incredibly proud of the work we have accomplished together to ensure financial transparency and sound stewardship of the district’s resources,” said Logan. “I leave feeling confident that the dedicated district leadership team and Board of Education will continue to serve this wonderful community well.”

Under Logan’s leadership, Sycamore has maintained disciplined spending, allowing the five-year operating levy approved in 2016 to last nearly twice as long. The Board, with guidance from Logan, recently reaffirmed the district’s dedication to fiscal responsibility and academic excellence by adopting new financial parameters that limit average annual expenditure growth to 3.5 percent from 2026 to 2030.

Superintendent Chad Lewis thanked Logan for her dedication, stating, “Her passion for education and her deep understanding of school finance have supported our goal of empowering all learners to reach their full potential. We are grateful for her leadership and wish her well as she embarks on a new chapter."
Board President Sara Bitter added,
“Her decades of proven leadership and commitment to long-term fiscal stability have left us in an excellent position and will allow us to have a successful transition. We are thankful for her dedicated service to the district and to our taxpayers.”

The Board of Education will now begin the thorough process of finding the district’s next Treasurer/CFO, committed to hiring the best candidate to maintain a high level of accountability, transparency, and financial management. An interim treasurer will be appointed to lead the department during this search.
