Free & Reduced Price Meals
Sycamore Community Schools participates in the National School Lunch Program, which allows families to apply for free or reduced-price meals.
If your family qualifies for reduced-price meals, prices would be $0.30 for breakfast and $0.40 for lunch. Students must make a meal, by taking a fruit or vegetable, for the meal to qualify for the free or reduced price rate.
Reminder, you must reapply every school year to see if you qualify for a meal benefit. To avoid disruption in your meal benefits from a previous school year, you must apply within the first 30 days of the new school year. You may apply at any point during the school year.
The last day to apply for the 2019-20 school year before your student loses benefits from last school year is September 25th!
Sycamore Child Nutrition offers an online application option. This allows you to find out whether you qualify or not instantaneously. Turn around time for the paper application can be up to 10 days, so we highly recommend applying online versus the paper application. To apply online, please use a personal computer or district chromebook. Unfortunately, you cannot complete the online application via a mobile device such as a cell phone or tablet.
If this is your first time applying with us online, you will need to create a payschools username and password. This is a one-time registration and will be used every year.

The application needs to be completed and turned into the Child Nutrition Office, located at the District Offices - 5959 Hagewa Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio 45242.
We offer translated forms. These are to be used as a reference, please place answers on the English form.
If you forgot to select fee waivers, changed your mind regarding fee waivers, or were pre-approved for free meals through the Direct Certification Process and need to submit your waiver letter, please fill out the Authorization to Share Information with Other Programs Form and return to the Child Nutrition Services Department. If you are participating in any extracurricular activities (ie. Athletics or Performing Arts) please also fill out the Performing Arts Program and Athletic Program Fee Form and turn this into your coach or advisor.
