Governor Mike DeWine has announced that all K-12 schools will remain closed through Friday, May 1, 2020, at which time the state will re-evaluate if schools can reopen. Sycamore Community Schools will continue to provide remote learning opportunities through this extended closure. Sycamore Community Schools will be closed through May 1, 2020. Students will return to school on May 4, unless otherwise determined or extended by the state of Ohio. All seven buildings and District Offices will be closed to students and families during this time.
Concerns over this new virus can make children and families anxious but it is important that the risk currently remains low in our community. Acknowledging some level of concern, without panicking, is appropriate and can result in taking actions that reduce the risk of illness.
