Sycamore Schools Releases 2016 Quality Profile
Sycamore Community Schools is proud to present the fourth edition of our Quality Profile, which provides a comprehensive look at the high-quality education and services offered during the 2015-2016 school year. Click here to view the report online.
The Quality Profile includes additional accountability measures that are not captured by the state report card which will be released later this month. The profile is based on the educational components our community values: academics, arts, staff leadership, fiscal stewardship, parent and community involvement, student services, environmental responsibility, and student leadership and activities.
“While we know there is some value in these test results, they alone do not fully depict what distinguishes our district as one of the highest performing districts in the state of Ohio,” said Frank Forsthoefel, superintendent. “This edition of the Quality Profile offers a broader understanding of the factors involved in providing a well-rounded educational experience for all of our Sycamore students.”
Sycamore’s vision is to cultivate a culture that honors a tradition of excellence and diversity, where learners are respected, valued, inspired and empowered to reach their full potential in an ever-changing world. This year’s Quality Profile highlights how we are preparing our students to be highly successful in college and careers and to be productive citizens.
Sycamore Schools is one of more than 70 districts across Ohio to release this report. The Quality Profile is sponsored by the Alliance for High Quality Education, a statewide education consortium that works to improve educational opportunities for all students and to represent member districts on matters of educational policy and funding.
