Blue Ash Dodgeball Charity Tournament
Blue Ash Elementary students took on their teachers for the 2nd Annual Blue Ash Dodgeball Tournament.
This year, each student who wanted to participate had to complete a service project in the community. Some kids collected canned goods and clothing for the needy. One student made cookies for inmates in a local jail, others did welcome baskets for refugees or volunteered at local retirement homes and with the disabled. A few students even donated their own holiday gift money.
The dodgeball tournament was started last year by students who wanted to raise money for a teacher battling cancer. That teacher passed away this fall, but they continued the event in her memory.
