LEGO League Teams Heading to State Competition
Sycamore so proud of our FIRST LEGO League teams! Two teams are heading to state after winning numerous awards at this weekend's district tournament!
Congrats to Brick Girls, which is made up of students from Sycamore Junior High, Maple Dale and Montgomery; and Omegabots, which has students from E.H. Greene and Sycamore Junior High.
Another congrats to our other teams! Blue Ash Elementary's Lego Cats junior team won a Synergy Award. E.H. Greene and Sycamore Junior High's Brick Geniuses also finished in the top half among 23 competitors. Great work!
This year Sycamore expanded the FIRST LEGO League from one school to five, with 10 district-sponsored teams, 3 neighborhood teams, more than 20 parent coaches and more than 100 students participating. In all six of the 13 teams received awards for their work.
Cheer on Brick Girls and Omegabots at the state tournament on February 6-7 at the Ervin J. Nutter Center in Dayton.
