Join Sycamore Basketball to Stuff The Truck for OGB

Join the Sycamore High School varsity basketball teams as they team up to Stuff the Truck for Operation Give Back. The girls and boys teams will be playing Colerain High School in a doubleheader on Friday, January 20.  Nonperishable food items and donations will be collected to support the local organization. The girls team will tip off at 6:00 p.m. followed by the boys at 7:30 p.m.

Operation Give Back (OGB) is a local nonprofit organization that focuses on helping students and families in the Sycamore school district. OBG is well known for their after school tutoring program to support students in grades two through eight.  Furthermore, they provide food for families in need through their food pantry.  The organization, including the food pantry runs solely on volunteers and donations.

The teams have gathered over 20 raffle baskets to help stuff the truck.  Community members will receive raffle tickets for bringing in food items or donating.  Every food item brought in can be exchanged for one raffle ticket. Additionally, raffle tickets will be sold one for a dollar, six for five dollars and an arms-length for ten dollars.

Join the Sycamore basketball program and help restock the OGB food pantry.
