Board Approves New E.H. Greene Assistant Principal
Sycamore Community Schools is excited to announce the appointment of a new assistant principal for the 2019-2020 school year.
Tricia Constable will join the administrative team at E.H. Greene Intermediate with a total of seven years of assistant principal experience. Constable comes to the Sycamore Family from Lakota Schools, where she has served for the past five years as assistant principal of Endeavor Elementary.
“We are excited to add Tricia to the amazing staff at the Greene School. She has a deep passion for working with students to develop essential skills for life beyond school,” said Matt Tudor, principal. “Tricia brings a wealth of experience as a teacher, a leader, a mother, and a community member.”
Constable has twelve years of classroom experience, teaching fifth and eighth grade advanced science at North College Hill Middle School and Princeton Community Middle School. She also taught middle school science, reading, and language arts for all grades at Cobb Middle School. Constable also served as assistant principal for two years at North College Hill Elementary prior to working for Prior Lakota Schools. She received her Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati in 2011. She also studied at Bowling Green State University and don Quijote Schools in Spain.
Constable lives in Montgomery with her husband, an Aviator alumni, and daughter, who will be attending Maple Dale Elementary in the Fall.
“For the last ten years, the Sycamore community has meant so much to me and my family personally,” said Constable. “This is where I became a mom, a homeowner, and experienced the closeness of this community. I am beyond thrilled to merge my professional and personal life as I join the Sycamore Family.”
Constable will replace Marilee Tanner, who resigned at the end of the 2018-2019 school year to become the new principal at Holmes Elementary School in Wilmington City Schools.
