The 11th annual Fashion for the Cure is Saturday, February 25 benefitting the Dragonfly Foundation, a local non-profit organization that helps young cancer and bone marrow transplant patients and their families find strength.
This year’s fashion show will feature 24 local Dragonfly children modeling clothing from local boutiques as well as original pieces created by Sycamore High School fashion design students.
Over the past ten years, this student-run event has raised more than $120,000 for various non-profit charities in the Cincinnati area. In 2014, Sycamore teamed up with the Dragonfly Foundation permanently. Last year, students raised $29,000 for the cause. Their goal is to raise $30,000 this year.
Tickets will be available to purchase this week at the high school and at the door the night of the show. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The show begins at 7:30 p.m.
In addition to the fashion show, there will be a silent auction and raffle baskets available.
