Sycamore Welcomes New High School Assistant Principal
Sycamore Community Schools is excited to announce the appointment of a new assistant principal at Sycamore High School. Mrs. Adrienne Sanders will join the administrative team for the 2017-2018 school year.
Sanders comes to the Sycamore Family from Edgewood City Schools, where she has served as the principal of at Edgewood High School for the past two years. She also served as an assistant principal for the school.
“Mrs. Sanders brings a unique and beneficial perspective to the leadership team at Sycamore High School,” said Superintendent Frank Forsthoefel.
Prior to becoming an administrator, Sanders taught for four years at Butler Technology, where she was a career and technical education teacher with family consumer science for Holmes H, New Miami, and Northwest High Schools.
Sanders received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky. She went on to achieve Master's degrees from the University of Cincinnati and Ashland University. Sanders is married with two children and is expecting another child this year. She lives in the Loveland area.
“We’re excited for her to join our team,” said Principal Doug Mader. “With her experience, she will be a huge asset to the high school.”
Sanders will replace Derrick Richardson, who will be leaving Sycamore. The Board of Education voted to approve Sanders at the June 7 Board meeting.
