Sycamore High School students are helping out in an unexpected way to support victims of Hurricane Harvey.
For the past two weeks, students have collected new socks for the chance to bring a sense of relief to those who were affected by the natural disaster. One of the most unthought of items but incredibly known necessities that victims need are socks.
Through sock and monetary donations, Sycamore High School was able to collect a total of 1,228 pairs of socks. Matthew 25 Ministries will distribute the donations to victims of Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.
