Sycamore Junior High Theater Presents Two Suspenseful Fall Plays
Sycamore Jr. High Theatre will be presenting two shows this weekend titled "Wishful Thinking" and "Chairs" that will keep you on the edge of your seat!
"Wishful Thinking" is about an English class of students that are supposed to be studying for a quiz on The Monkey’s Paw, a classic short horror story about making wishes that tamper with fate. When the students find a rabbit’s foot, they pretend it’s the monkey’s paw and decide to make three wishes. With many hilarious arguments, they decide on their first wish. Will their first wish come true?
"Chairs" is about when 10 teens wake up confused and in a room with no idea how they got there. They soon realize they are trapped inside, unwilling participants in a game of musical chairs in which the losers are supernaturally pulled through a door to their doom. As tensions rise and their numbers dwindle, can the survivors avoid being picked off one by one?
These students have done an amazing job not only building and painting the set, but collaborating with each other and the directors. This is a great group of talented students and we are so excited for you to come see the show!
