Sycamore Senior Named 2019 Coca-Cola Scholars Regional Finalist
A Sycamore High School student has been named 2019 Coca-Cola Scholar Finalist.
Senior Shayna Kling is among nearly 250 students from across the country to be selected as a regional finalist.
More than 9,500 students advanced to semifinalist status, including Sycamore High School seniors Grant Bruner and Nicholas McDonough.
The Coca-Cola Scholars Program is an achievement-based scholarship. Applicants are evaluated on leadership, academics, and service. This year, over 200,000 students applied for the opportunity at a $20,000 scholarship. Only 150 students will be named Coca-Cola Scholars in the Spring.
