Sycamore staff and students shined, literally, at the 2019 BLINK Future City Spectacular Parade.
Art and Science teachers along with 30 Sycamore High School students walked in the parade in Downtown Cincinnati on October 10.
Each participant wore a costume made out of nearly 100 used water bottles collected from organizations across Cincinnati. Not a single plastic bottle was purchased to complete the work. Their goal was to raise awareness of the global impact of plastic waste.
The group walked in the parade from Vine Street to W. Freedom Way on Thursday, October 10. They will also be featured in the Sycamore Homecoming Parade on Friday, October 11 at 5:00 pm.
