Sycamore Schools Named #3 Best District In Ohio

Sycamore Community Schools is proud to be named the #3 school district in Ohio! The district and several of its schools have landed in the top rankings by the nationwide ranking site Niche Report.
 
Sycamore Community Schools was named the #3 Best District in the state of Ohio, up one spot from the previous year. The district was also ranked #58 out of nearly 10,800 districts across America. The district received an A+ grade from Niche, which only 2% of public and private school districts across the country achieve. 
 
All four of Sycamore’s elementary schools were ranked in the top 10 of Niche’s 2024 Best Public Elementary Schools in the Cincinnati area, receiving A+ grades:
  • Montgomery Elementary #1 (#6 in Ohio)
  • Maple Dale Elementary #3 (#10 in Ohio)
  • Symmes Elementary #5 (#13 in Ohio)
  • Blue Ash Elementary #7 (#17 in Ohio)
E.H. Greene Intermediate and Sycamore Junior High made the top 3 Best Public Middle Schools in the Cincinnati area. Sycamore Junior High was named #4 in Ohio, up four spots from last year. E.H. Greene was ranked #8 in the state, up two spots from the last year. 
 
Sycamore High School was named the #3 best public high school in Cincinnati and #5 in the state.
 
Niche’s annual rankings are based on rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Ranking factors include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, and public school district ratings. Niche also grades schools in areas like sports, diversity, and quality of school administration.
