Sycamore Class of 2018 Grads Earn Seal of Biliteracy

Twenty-five members of the Sycamore High School Class of 2018 have earned the State of Ohio's Seal of Biliteracy.
The State of Ohio Seal of Biliteracy is a state law which recognizes graduates who have demonstrated high levels of proficiency in English and at least one other language. Within 14 months of graduation, students must pass a challenging proficiency assessment that proves they have intermediate high or advanced proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing a foreign language.  Students can also be awarded the Seal of Biliteracy for receiving a 4 or 5 on the Advanced Placement exam in their language.
