Junior High Student Wins At Junior Olympic Archery Championships
A Sycamore Junior High student just took home fourth place at a junior Olympic archery tournament.
Seventh grader Alexis Holdren recently placed fourth in the country at the 2017 Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) National Target Championships in Westfield, Indiana.
The JOAD National Target Championships is a youth event for archers who are part of a JOAD Club. The JOAD National Target Championships consists of a double 72 arrow qualification round, shot over two days, head-to-head elimination round and an optional team round. Holdren competed in the Compound Bowmen Female division.
