Sycamore Ranked #1 Best Public School District in Cincinnati

Sycamore Community Schools is proud to be named the 2023 Best School District in Greater Cincinnati by Niche Report. The district and several of its schools have landed in the top rankings by the nationwide ranking site. 

Sycamore Community Schools was named the #1 Best District in the Cincinnati area and the #2 Best District in the state of Ohio. The district was also ranked #51 out of nearly 10,800 districts across America. The district received an A+ grade from Niche, which only 2% of public and private school districts across the country achieve. 

All four of Sycamore’s elementary schools were ranked in the top 5 of Niche’s 2023 Best Public Elementary Schools in the Cincinnati area, receiving A+ grades:

  • Maple Dale Elementary #1 (#5 in Ohio)

  • Montgomery Elementary #2 (#6 in Ohio)

  • Blue Ash Elementary #3 (#8 in Ohio)

  • Symmes Elementary #4 (#11 in Ohio)

E.H. Greene Intermediate and Sycamore Junior High made the top 3 Best Public Middle Schools in the Cincinnati area. Sycamore Junior High was named #1 in the Cincinnati area and #4 in Ohio. E.H. Greene was ranked #2 in Cincinnati and #7 in the state. 

Sycamore High School was named the #5 best public high school in Cincinnati and ranked #8 on Niche’s 2023 Best Public High Schools in Ohio. 

Niche’s annual rankings are based on rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Ranking factors include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, and public school district ratings.
