David Foster came to Sycamore in 2015 from Fairfield City Schools. There he served as the Support Services Director, overseeing the district’s safety program, served on union bargaining, managed the school nursing program, the workers' compensation program, and the child nutrition program. He also served as the district expulsion officer and assisted administration on major special projects.
David served in the United States Marine Corps for 23 years between 1980-2003, his service included multiple deployments including Combat Operations and Humanitarian tours worldwide. Upon retirement, he earned his Bachelor's Degree in business management from Indiana Wesleyan University; a Master's Degree in executive leadership & organizational change from Northern Kentucky University. and Masters in both theology and education administration from Xavier University. David also serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Haile/U.S. Bank College of Business at Northern Kentucky University.
As Sycamore's Support Services Director, David oversee the district’s safety program, the workers' compensation program and, the upkeep of all district building & grounds as well as assist the Director of Business Operations in capital improvement projects.
