Jenni Logan joined Sycamore Community Schools in August 2023 to lead our financial services. 

Logan served as treasurer of Lakota Local Schools for 11 years, helping steer the district through financial challenges. Under her leadership, Lakota achieved 10 years of balanced budgets, and received the Auditor of State Award with Distinction for eight consecutive years. Lakota also achieved one of the highest bond ratings from both Moody’s Investors Services and Standard & Poor’s during her tenure. In 2016, she was named the Ohio Treasurer of the Year by the Ohio Association of School Business Officials (OASBO).

Logan’s many accomplishments include helping consult with state officials as they revamped Ohio’s laws for the Fair School Funding Act now in place.She has delivered numerous testimonies during state budget hearings and served as OASBO State President and OASBO Board of Directors Secretary. 

Logan has spent the last year working as a consultant for Butler County Educational Services Center, providing interim treasurer services, coaching and mentoring new and aspiring treasurers, and conducting a curriculum rewrite of Essentials Coursework for OASBO. 

Prior to joining Lakota, Logan spent time in the private sector, working as the Director of Robert W. Baird & Co. She also served as Treasurer for Milford Schools, Waverly Schools, and Pike County Career Tech Center and Pike County ESC. Her financial career started as an assistant auditor for the Auditor of the State of Ohio. 

Logan’s achievements also include serving as lead banker for first school district Build America Bonds issues in Ohio and receiving the Chuck Gosset Legislative Advocacy Award in 2015.
