Title IX

The Sycamore Community School District is committed to providing equal opportunities as well as a learning and work environment free from discrimination. In compliance with newly revised federal mandates related to Title IX, Sycamore Community Schools has revised Board Policies: 

The Board adheres to all compliance mandates required under federal law, thus the Board encourages those within the District who feel aggrieved to seek assistance to resolve such issues. The Title IX Coordinator will serve as the grievance officer and coordinate the District’s efforts to comply with and carry out the responsibilities under Title IX, including any complaint under Title IX. The Title IX Coordinator is vested with the authority and responsibility for coordinating the ACAA-P- Sexual Harassment Grievance Process when addressing all sexual harassment complaints.
